Answer is no, unless you want to take a boiler finance.
The part of your installation fee for a new boiler, normally around at £1000, will go into the turnover of one national company. This national company then will sub contract your boiler installation job to a local gas engineer. This engineer will probably get just half of the total installation fee, say about £500.
Can this local gas engineer do the same good standards by a half labour fee? The answer is obviously no.
If you are not taking a boiler finance, why pay some unnecessary money to a middle man, and you can’t call this local engineer back if there is a problem?
